How to Apply
It is important to begin with clean skin. Wash hands and face before applying a mask. You don’t want to apply a mask with dirty hands as you might transfer oils and bacteria to your face. Likewise, a clean face will allow the mask to penetrate the skin. Be careful not to over apply the mask. In this case less is more. There are no added benefits to applying a thick layer of the mask, and if you apply too much it is more difficult to remove and can be abrasive to the skin. Avoid leaving it on too long by following package directions.
Once face is cleaned, mix the mask and apply with hands or a brush. Apply a thin, even layer and leave on for 10-15 minutes. The powder may be mixed with water, or the Mask Amplifying Solution that makes mixing easy.
As the clay penetrates the skin, it hardens. After the recommended time, gently remove the mask using a soft cloth or hands, and warm water. Remember, clay masks are a bit messy, so be sure to pull hair off face with a head band before applying to face, forehead and neck while avoiding the eyes and mouth.
Follow with cleansing and moisturizing. Use the mask 2-3 times per week and use consistently to ensure results.
